Same-Day Emergency Dental Care in Fitchburg
A dental emergency can happen at any time. A sudden toothache that makes it impossible to concentrate, a tooth broken during a fall, a crown that comes off at the worst possible moment, or a swelling that came out of nowhere and is getting worse by the hour. When these situations arise, waiting a week for a routine appointment isn't an option. At Rollstone Family Dental, we make every effort to see emergency patients the same day they call, including patients who have never visited our practice before.
We provide emergency dental care for patients across Fitchburg, Leominster, Lunenburg, Townsend, Ashburnham, and Ayer. If you're in pain or dealing with a dental situation that can't wait, call us at (978) 344-6916 as early as possible and let our team know it's an emergency. We will do everything we can to get you in, evaluate your situation, and relieve your pain on that visit.
Dental Emergencies We Treat
- Severe Toothache: Persistent or severe tooth pain may indicate infection or decay. Take over-the-counter pain medication as directed, avoid hot or cold foods, and call us right away.
- Broken or Chipped Tooth: A cracked or broken tooth can worsen without treatment. Rinse with warm water, avoid chewing on the affected side, and save any broken pieces if possible.
- Knocked-Out Tooth: A knocked-out permanent tooth requires immediate attention. Handle it by the crown, keep it moist in milk or saline, and get to our office within 30–60 minutes if possible.
- Lost Crown or Filling: A missing restoration leaves your tooth vulnerable to damage and sensitivity. Protect the area with temporary dental cement if available and schedule an appointment promptly.
- Dental Abscess or Swelling: Severe pain, swelling, or a pimple-like bump on the gums may indicate an infection. Contact us immediately. If you have difficulty breathing or swallowing, seek emergency medical care.
- Soft Tissue Injuries: Cuts to the lips, cheeks, tongue, or gums can bleed heavily. Apply gentle pressure with clean gauze and seek care if bleeding doesn't stop within 15–20 minutes.
- Broken or Lost Denture: A damaged denture can make eating and speaking difficult. Call us to discuss repair or replacement options as soon as possible.
