Safe, Smooth Tooth Extractions
Nobody wants to hear they need a tooth pulled and at Rollstone Family Dental, we understand that. We only recommend extraction when it's genuinely the best path forward for your oral health, whether that's due to severe decay, advanced gum disease, a fractured tooth beyond repair, overcrowding, or impacted wisdom teeth. When extraction is the right call, our team performs the procedure with precision, gentleness, and a clear explanation of every step along the way.
We provide both routine extractions and wisdom teeth removal for patients across Fitchburg, Leominster, Lunenburg, Townsend, Ashburnham, and Ayer. Whether you're dealing with sudden tooth pain or have been told by another provider that your wisdom teeth need to come out, our team will walk you through your options, answer every question honestly, and make sure you feel fully informed before any procedure begins.
Wisdom Teeth Removal in Rollstone Family Dental
Wisdom teeth, also known as third molars, typically emerge between the ages of 17 and 25. For many patients, there simply isn't enough room in the mouth for these teeth to grow in properly, which can lead to impaction, crowding, infection, and pain. In other cases, wisdom teeth grow in at an angle, pushing against neighboring teeth and causing damage over time.
At Rollstone Family Dental, we evaluate every patient's wisdom teeth individually using digital X-rays to determine their position, growth pattern, and whether removal is recommended. Not every patient needs their wisdom teeth removed but when extraction is the right call, our team handles the procedure with the same care and precision we bring to every extraction.

Tooth Extractions With or Without Insurance
Rollstone Family Dental accepts most major dental insurance plans, and many plans provide partial coverage for medically necessary extractions, including wisdom teeth removal. We verify your coverage before your appointment and clearly explain your estimated out-of-pocket cost before any procedure begins.
For patients without insurance, our in-house Dental Membership Plan provides 20% off all treatments beyond your included preventive care, which applies to extraction procedures as well.
