We’re excited to share some exciting news about our practice!
As many of you have seen over the last year, we have been working on building our brand-new, state-of-the-art clinic on the first floor of our building. We are now nearing the completion of this project and look forward to offering a more accessible and comfortable experience for all our patients, including an ADA accessible entrance, large windows, and no giant stairs to get to the clinic!
Construction of the new space is expected to be completed by June 30, 2026, and we anticipate moving into the new clinic and beginning operations there in late July 2026.
As part of this exciting transition, we are also updating the name of our practice to better reflect our values and our connection to the Fitchburg community. We are pleased to announce that we are renaming our practice from SmileCare Dental of Fitchburg to Rollstone Family Dental, effective June 29, 2026.
We chose the name Rollstone Family Dental because the Rollstone is an important part of Fitchburg's history and identity. As a practice that has had the privilege of serving generations of local families, we wanted a name that reflects our strong connection to the community and the people we care for every day.
Besides the new clinic space, nothing else about your care is changing.

Born in Brooklyn, NY to Ukrainian immigrant parents, Dr. Mark graduated from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. There, he earned the International College of Dentists Leadership Award and the ASDA Award of Excellence. After graduation, he completed his general practice residency at Northport VA Medical Center. Dr. Mark believes in giving back and has completed dental mission trips to provide dental care to those in need.
Dr. Mark and his team treat patients of all ages, and specialize in preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. Every patient receives personalized treatment designed for their smile.

Meet Your Fitchburg Dentists
Dr. Mark Berenshteyn
Dr. Mark Berenshteyn was born in Brooklyn, NY and is the son of Ukrainian immigrants. Dr. Mark graduated from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he earned the International College of Dentists Leadership Award and the ASDA Award of Excellence. He then completed a general practice residency at the Northport VA Medical Center, where he had the opportunity to provide complex care to our veterans in need. Before coming to Fitchburg, practiced in Keene, NH where he continued to take continuing education courses to further his skills.
Giving back is also important to Dr. Mark. He recently completed a weeklong dental mission trip in Guatemala, as well as mission trips in Philadelphia and Connecticut in the last year.
Dr. Kavita Shah
Dr. Kavita Shah earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City. She went on to complete a General Practice Residency at NYU Langone in Brooklyn, where she trained in a fast-paced, high-acuity Level 1 trauma center. During her undergraduate years, Dr. Shah was honored with the “29 Who Shine” award from the Massachusetts Board of Education, recognizing her academic excellence and leadership potential.
Dr. Shah has worked in private practice since completing her residency and enjoys both the artistic and relational aspects of dentistry. She has a special interest in aesthetic restorative care and pediatric oral health education.
